Hardware electric tools are commonly used products in the modern industrial sector, typically driven by electricity. However, there are some precautions to be aware of during their use. What should operators pay attention to when using electric tools?
Precautions for Operating Electric Tools:
Before using the tool, a qualified electrician should inspect whether the wiring is correct to prevent accidents caused by the wrong connection of neutral and phase wires.
Tools that have been left unused for a long time or are damp should be tested by an electrician to measure the insulation resistance to ensure it meets the requirements before use.
The soft cable or cord that comes with the tool must not be extended. When the distance between the power source and the workplace is too far, a mobile electrical switch box should be used to solve the issue.
The original plug of the tool must not be removed or replaced at will. When the original plug is damaged, it is strictly forbidden to insert the metal wire of the wire directly into the socket without a plug.
If the tool's casing or handle is found to be cracked, the use should be stopped, and it should be replaced.
Non-professional personnel are not allowed to disassemble and repair tools without permission.
Handheld tools should have protective devices for rotating parts.
Operators should wear specified insulating protective equipment (insulated shoes, insulated gloves, etc.).
A leakage protection device must be installed at the power source.
Overloading is strictly prohibited. Pay attention to the sound and temperature rise; if any abnormalities are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection.
