The Precautions For Using Power Tools

1. Work Area

a) Please keep the work area clean and well-lit. A cluttered and dimly lit work area can lead to accidents.

b) Do not use power tools in environments with explosion hazards, such as environments with flammable liquids, gases, or dust. The sparks generated by power tools can ignite dust and gases.

2. Electrical Safety

a) The power outlet must match the power plug of the power tool. Under no circumstances should the power plug be modified. Do not use any outlets with a common ground. Unaltered plugs and the appropriate outlets can reduce the risk of electric shock.

b) Please avoid physical contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes, heating systems, stoves, and refrigerators. If your body is grounded, it will increase the risk of electric shock.

c) Keep equipment away from rain and damp environments. Water ingress in power tools increases the risk of electric shock.

d) Do not use the power cord for other purposes, such as lifting, hanging tools, or pulling the plug out of the socket. Keep the power cord away from heat sources, oil stains, sharp edges, or moving parts of the tool. Damaged or tangled power cords increase the risk of electric shock.

e) When using power tools outdoors, please use extension cords that are allowed for outdoor use. Using appropriate outdoor extension cords can reduce the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal Safety

a) Please stay alert, focused on your work, and operate power tools sensibly. Do not use power tools when you are tired or under the influence of narcotics, alcohol, or medication. A moment's distraction while using power tools can cause serious injuries.

b) Wear personal protective equipment and always wear protective goggles. Wearing personal protective equipment according to the type and characteristics of the power tool, such as dust masks, anti-slip safety shoes, safety helmets, or noise protection ear muffs, can reduce the risk of injury.

c) Avoid inadvertently turning on the device. Before plugging in, make sure the switch is set to "off". Accidents can occur if your fingers are on the switch or if the switch is in the on position when you plug the power tool into the power source.

d) Please remove and move away any adjusting screwdrivers or wrenches before starting the power tool. Tools or wrenches that come into contact with rotating parts of the device can cause personal injury.

e) Do not overestimate yourself. Always pay attention to standing safely and maintaining balance. This can ensure that you can better control the power tool in case of an accident.

f) Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing and accessories. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing accessories or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

g) If the purchased equipment includes a vacuum or dust collection system, connect and use these devices correctly. Using these devices can reduce the dangers caused by dust.

4. Use and Maintenance of Power Tools

a) Do not overload the power tool. Choose the appropriate power tool according to the requirements of the job. Using the appropriate power tool at the rated speed can help you complete your work better and more safely.

b) Do not use power tools with a damaged switch. Any power tool that cannot be controlled by a switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Disconnect the plug from the socket before adjusting the device, changing accessories, or storing the device. These safety standards can prevent the device from starting unexpectedly.

d) Keep unused power tools out of reach of children. Do not allow people who are not familiar with the power tool or have not read this manual to operate the power tool. It is dangerous for people who have not been trained to use power tools.

e) Carefully maintain power tools. Check for incorrect adjustments, jamming of moving parts, damage to components, and anything else that may affect the normal operation of the power tool. Problematic power tools must be repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Sharp, well-maintained cutting tools are less likely to jam and easier to operate.

g) Select the power tool, accessories, replacement tools, etc., correctly according to the requirements of the operation manual, considering the working environment and type of work, and in accordance with the design purpose of the specific power tool. Using power tools for work beyond the designed scope may cause danger.

5. Maintenance and Use of Battery-Powered Tools

a) Ensure the switch is off before inserting the battery. Inserting the battery into a turned-on power tool can cause an accident.

b) Use the charger specified by the manufacturer to charge the battery. A charger suitable for one type of battery may cause a fire when charging another type of battery.

c) Only use batteries specifically designated for the power tool. Using other batteries can cause injury and fire hazards.

d) Keep unused batteries away from office clips, coins, keys, nails, nuts, or other small metal objects that may cause a short circuit. A short circuit at the electrodes can cause burning or even a fire.

e) Improper use of batteries can lead to liquid leakage. Avoid contact with these liquids. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. If the liquid enters the eyes, seek medical attention immediately. Leaking liquids can cause skin irritation or burns.
